What’s Next.

Having posted “What Actually Happened” & “Thank you for support”. Just want to make a few things clear, if it isn’t clear yet.

First, this domain and blog post facts and truths. Materials used are user-created. Naming a person on this blog, does not invade personal privacy. The name was wrong anyways. No contact number or address was posted. The IP posted was linked to the school, which is why the school name was kept. All information fits Terms of Service.

Now, three days back. zerg960 got on a Teamspeak server, belonging to gogyst & Unboxermail. krisst was in his channel with Elphalpo, gaming on Dungeon Defenders.

krisst was told, after the gogyst talked to zerg960, that kreatious.com blog have to be removed. Reasons could be anyone’s guess. Only the person who want the it removed know.

This is a public announcement about what krisst want for kreatious. kreatious is now a blog. Posting relevant information, regarding old kreatious community, Minecraft, and more.

zerg960 is requested to terminate the use of kreatious name, with immediate effect. All kreatious named account on all sites are to returned to kreatious (at) gmail.com. He is to use a brand new name for his own Minecraft community, if he wish to continue his server. Below is a simple cost and benefit list.

Pursuit kreatious trademark/copyright

Cost: $2000+

New domain registration

Cost: $10+

As shown above, getting a new name is a better investment. Afterall, it is not a profiting setup.

Many players have asked krisst “Why did he not demote zerg960”.

krisst’s reply, “Gave him a staircase to walk down, after he have disgrace himself.”

Thank you everyone for sending in feedback. Received multiple support replies via multiple social medias.

The purpose of posting previous article, is to warn all players who have previously played Minecraft on kreatious.com. There are no sides to choose. Everyone of you have a choice to choose who you would like to enjoy time with. Your circle of friends. There is no right or wrong. Everyone is able to learn some important lessons from the incident.

Most of the players do not know how krisst and zerg960 met. They were featured on one the the “Let’s Grief” video before. Stopping the grievers. Mikenanners was the channel, although, the video was no longer available since it was a failed grief attempt.

It was back on the first minecraft server. Both of them were very active. Somehow or rather, trust was built. When the time came to move on to start a server. The whole staff team worked together to test out the server plugins.

The test server was hosted on krisst’s personal PC. zerg960 was the person who was better on testing plugins, check that everything works. It is not easy to comprehend how much trust is needed, for krisst, who have not met zerg960 in real life before, mere internet friends. To entrust him with full teamviewer permission while krisst was away. For nearly 2 weeks, while krisst was sleeping, zerg960 had full access to everything on the personal PC.

Would you have trusted anyone you knew on playing Minecraft now, at this very moment, to allow them to full access your personal computer for prolong period of time while you were away?

Most people would not. It takes a high degree of trust to entrust someone with such Minecraft friendship.

Consider these, you may start to understand how krisst’s felt when he was betrayed.

What would you have done in this scenario? Wonder what is going through zerg960’s mind when he did all those acts.

It is unclear to krisst how the social upbringing culture is in the States. In an Asian culture respect, honor and pride in one’s doing is utmost. Some may call it Emotional Intelligence (EQ). It is important to understand how your actions affect everyone around you.

Respect for others is important. That is how people socialise.

What Actually Happened to kreatious MC Server.

This article is to clear things up, about what happened before the decision was made, to close down kreatious Minecraft Server back in Oct 2011. To date, there is No Official kreatious MC server, more explainations later.

Its about over 5 months since server was closed, absent of anger, to write a factual account of the incident.

Less than a month before closure, an admin with the name of zerg960, allegedly removed all the plugins, causing the server to crash. Putting all player’s hard-earned effort in jeopardy. After multiple verbal warnings and request to appologise to all players by krisst, zerg960 ignored, assume he is right.

Things tense up, as zerg960 ordered his own server, in preparation to jump ship if he gets the banhammer. Things cooled, and with a server on hand, he decide to make it the creative server for kreatious. No staff approved to the addition prior.

More than a week, before end of Oct 2011. zerg960 continues to think he is right as he goes about his day alone, doing his own stuff. Only codes what he wants. Players on mc continues to get kicked for no reason, they moan of bad protection plugins, coder ignored.

One week before server closure, krisst wrote the Open Letter. It was posted on the forum. Other than denouncing zerg960 action and character. A request was put out to ask players to send in applications to administrate the server. 1 whole week past, none applied. This could only mean players are not willing to take up the responsibility.

One day before end of Oct 2011, a meeting was planned to have all staff sit down and clear things up on teamspeak. Prior to it, zerg960 have purchased the domain name kreatious.net. The act of betrayal to all staff and players. Attempt to split the community for his benefits.

With this knowledge, krisst consulted 2 of the key members in the community, UpMax and Elphalpo. After talk, the 3 key guys, Elphalpo, UpMax and krisst decided its time to close the server for good without warning. To denied zerg960 to backup existing files. Little do they knew, 2 weeks prior, when zerg960’s permission was removed, due to his childish act of deleting server’s plugins, he was given the passwords to the forum SQL again. Which he did a backup immediately, more on this later.

Since, zerg960’s action of getting a server, and kreatious.net domain, its clear that he is no longer a friend on the community. A true friend wouldn’t go behind your back to betray you, would he? Let alone he betrayed the whole community with his action. The teamspeak meeting, krisst decided to no attend, because a decision  to close the server was made.

On Halloween, server closure day. krisst sent the hosting company and email, telling them to end the server. The company replied as follows.

Basically, it means to cancel the service, the customer need to inform the company at least 5 days before cancelling, else, the service is still payable for the following month.

With all leftover donations, the bill was cleared.

Now back to the SQL access, zerg960 was able to extract forum users’ password to their account. Following are a few picture taken from the forum.

zerg960, is from Missouri University of Science and Technology, as a student.

With this, one would wonder, if he have access to your email account, or even worst, paypal account. Lucky for krisst, he have different passwords for his email and paypal. If he had the same password, zerg960 will be in jail now.

It’s a fact the over 90% of internet users use the same password for all their accounts online.

Strongly urge You, yes You!, reading this, to change your password on all sites you have access to.

It is reported by many players that zerg960 is able to hack their minecraft account, and use it to login to any minecraft server. To do good or bad, you should have an idea by now.

After contacting a few coder friends, its been explained, that by simply logging on to zerg960’s server, gives his access to your minecraft account. Allowing him to do whatever he wish to your account.

zerg960 misuse and abuse the trust and money of players. He used these for his own ego.

You have been warned. Now, it’s up to you to do your part. First, change all your password. Second, never ever login to zerg960’s server. Third, if you have supported him financially, ask for a refund. you can also contact your bank to get back the money if you use credit card.

From the day of server closure, it’s understandable that players needed a place, a server to hangout with their friends, to continue enjoy their favorite game with players they knew.

Few days after server closure, the kreatious.com website was brought backup to explain what happened with a simple message. Somehow zerg960 is able to change the website message to twist the truth to his advantage.

His action proof his lack of self confidence, and result in leeching on the kreatious name. Futile ego-boost with virtual power.

Everyone know the “k” in kreatious name stands for krisst. In retro-spec, krisst should have use the name krisstkraft, or something along that line.

zerg960 was only made an admin because it’s easier for players to understand who work on which part of the server’s hierarchy. The coder rank is much suited.

Finally, to answer the “No Official kreatious MC server”, kreatious was headed by krisst, upon leaving the previous server. It was krisst’s vision of how a minecraft server for his friends should have been. Without krisst, it’s no longer kreatious.

Think Apple Inc. without Steve Jobs. It’s no longer the same Apple company we knew.

All of the pioneer players on kreatious is not playing on another server. Why is that so? Why is UpMax, Elphalpo, and many key Team players still hanging out on the same server now? The circle of friends always stay together, and enjoy games together.

Knowing the fact that zerg960 illegally use players account. Have access to player’s email/paypal account with the same password as their forum account. No one in the right mind would support him.

If you are one of those that are staying because of a certain vitual rank. Good luck in your real life. You are better than this. You do have a choice. Make the right choice.

Lastly, zerg960 might want to think of a better name to start his own community.

Open Letter (Repost)

I would like to start this letter with a quote.

“Differences are not divisions. It is the intolerance of differences that will be dividing.”

This letter have been long due, apologise for the delay, other than my personal stuff, I have to be sure what I want to convey are clearly expressed in this letter.

I have been looking at the “Server Plans” googledocs spreadsheet. Looking through the names, who have helped suggest key points for kreatious. As its not some secret anymore, I have linked the file [here] for all to view, if they are interested. A few key points when we are planning, I would like to point out.

“Mission Statement

Enjoy Minecraft with people. Have fun building and mining. (With no grieving and an overall good experience)

Harmonious community. Addictive and engaging gameplay.

To simply let players enjoy the server.”

Many of the pages are kindly prepared by tooney007, the content page, the plugins we could use, etc.

Speaking of which, I would like to like all names of the pioneering team for kreatious. Whom I take their opinions at a higher weightage.

xxKuro, Ducky52, tooney007, Repulse, masseylass, dudekazoo, tempestfeir, zerg960, Elphalpo, Willowfield, Davehz, UpMax, whitebury, srarokz, Merirox and gogyst. Can’t figure out one of the email address. Could be Nikferni. And of course, the list are not in order of power.

While planning, there was an incident. Someone who have access to the plan, leaked a copy to our previous server. its fine, we are just brain storming anyways.

In the plan, we also talked about using area protection to reduce mods’ workload. Coming from the last server, which was using legacy alert systems. We knew the pain. One of the reasons why we left, at least I did.

I have always thought of myself as the legislator/planner of the server. Not because I owned the server. In fact, who owned the server doesn’t matter if we are a team, supporting the operations of the server. It’s because I am a mature player, most likely double most of the players’ real-life experience, which are playing on the server.

I recalled, not long ago, bondsmatthew moved some staff topic for all to see in the general section. Not clear what topics he actually moved, don’t really care. Most of the topics in the staff section are not secret, just don’t need players to reply to them. In fact, all of my posts are free for everyone to read. Nothing to hide.

@bondsmatthew, I don’t need your respect. Because you don’t even have respect for yourself. At the moment of doing that act, you lost all respect as a staff, for yourself. Making private issues more important than server matters. I know you have always been doing that, just don’t know it’s this severe.

When I found out about Team Pony, going around other random servers, grieving, haxing, trying to break their server and got banned. My concern is about all your names, linking people to us, kreatious. Your private lives, is your business, I respect that. But when your bring trouble back here. Its server’s matter. It’s so easy to find someone on the interweb.

About the creative server

Many may or may not know how it came about. But the bottom line is, it’s not recognized by kreatious Team. It’s like a cover up for something huge that happened. It’s been about 2 weeks, and the that someone, whom I have requested to write an open apology letter have yet to realize how devastating what he have done. Read on to learn more.

To zerg960

I don’t know how can you sleep soundly at night. Because I can’t, not after what you did. About 2 weeks ago, you deleted all plugins, coded by you, in response to judgments about your plugins not working as well, design/concept flaw. By removing plugins coded by you, the server is render unprotected. Not protected at all, not even logs. For about an hour, you watch it die as you “Wee….”. how can you still smile after you did that. No remorse at all.

At that same time, from what I heard, you ordered your own server. Thinking to jump ship? Leave the community to die. How noble of you.

From the start of the server, we were using public plugins, they were doing fine. And you wanted to code similar plugins to placement all of them; redundant. And as all public plugins move forward, better coded, with clear instructions, most popular ones even have their own wiki site for each plugins. That gives example and descriptions of how to use and configure them.

So by coding plugins for the server, that you can one day just delete just because you coded them and jeopardise server operations. Betraying trust from each and every player that trusted you, calling you an admin. Is that how you repay the community? Taking another case onto your own hands, personal matters higher than server’s wellness? How do your answer to all the players with your actions…

And at the same time as the server is burning without any plugins. You go ahead to ordered your own server. for what? Waste money? Your would rather not donate to support your own server, you want to get your own server and start a new?

The aftermath, having creative server is a cover up for your actions. And so I heard, you plan to get a domain name, just because I changed the creative.kreatious.com to troll.kreatious.com. and kreatious.net? kreatious.xyz?

The reason why I changed the domain name to troll, is simply because you started unbanning players who are banned on kreatious. And because you linked the chat, and many other things. No one likes to see players who should be banned, online.

Sidetrack here, @shadowofrsr, we are friends, still are. You are a great guy, knowledgeable. And when jokes are not funny, it became trolling. After a long duration of trolling, it became a ban. Might want to read up on books about banter. As usual, it’s nothing personal, just doing a job. That’s why gogyst did. And I know gogyst is not an good example as a mod. Language and character needs change, I am sure he is working on it, till we don’t need mods anymore.

@zerg960, many post in the staff section. Talking about how to promoted your friend jere to mod for a certain duration, just for fun? Not a role-model action at all dude.

Why are you hiding all these facts from players? Might lost your support? Your fan base? From the past till now, I have always been most lenient with you. I believe we need trust in the team to continue the server. you have been thinking that I will cut you? Demote you? Kick you?

I am not even gonna talk about some griever group you engaged to do stuff to that server. the act is personal, and silly.

Now, think about this. When you did all those bad things, it’s you who are demoting yourself. Giving in to your emotions, and acted recklessly. Time to learn some life lessons. You are a good coder, and you are not the best in the world. There are still many things to learn, in codes, in life. Bucket half full.

Why we should start using public plugins

After reading above facts. If you don’t get it. Okay. I will explain. Because by using public plugins, we are free to use them, not one have copyright over them, its opensource, free to use. Detailed instructions. Highly configurable. Neatly presented wiki. And lastly, no one will say, “I owned the plugins, I can delete them”. Although volunteering to code for kreatious, you kind of don’t own them anymore, still. Better to sure than sorry. Most public plugins can do most of the things we need for the server. maybe just for a few unique and rare plugins need coder to specially code them.

More Admins

I have seen many players so keen to help out the server. no matter how small the task is. There are few individuals who are very pro-active. I am thinking to increase the amount of admins. Figure you asked? I am thinking about 6. With more admins, the server will get faster help, and more support if anything major happen. And the by-product is to be able to better fix the server plans, if issues arise. Much easier to gather 6 admins for meeting, than a whole staff team. Which is about 14+, I think.

So, there are a few things needed, for the role of an admin. Trusted player in the community. Understand how to operate linux, mysql, phpbb, java, programming, etc. things that need administrate. Understand how to setup a test server in case the need for testing new stuff before applying to the server.

Direction the server is going

With about 3 weeks to minecraft launch. I urge all players to suggest things that needs fixing. Anything at all. Could be a bug with your sethome. Or getting kicked for building your house. All small things need to be done before launching the new main map. And we will run a temp world with area protection plugins. To test out how players like it. I will also write a post about what I have personally tested.

There are players who asked me, why don’t I just pass the task of planning and managing the server to zerg960, since he is the other admin, should be the number one choice. Well, do I need to explain this again? He is not suitable now. Not when he still act like a teenager.

We are low on donations. So the month after next, might have to change server. just letting you guys know.
